picked up Monster Hunter World for $15 on Xbox

 

my list of games to buy includes every PS4 exclusive because they are mad cheap tbh.

 

Hoping PSN flash sale this evening.

 

I simultaneously hated and loved this game. Hope you enjoy it.

 

admittedly I’ve never touched a Monster Hunter game but this one caught my interest. a couple of my friends and I just bought this so we’re hopping in together.

 

How is it? I saw a lot of my friends on it initially, but haven’t seen them on it in at least month

 

My top tip would be to be patient, and plan in advance to suit your playstyle. I've delved into MH lightly before but this one made me give it a proper go. Big learning curve at first. I'd def reccomend trying EVERY weapon possible to find one that suits you.

It's amazing sometimes when it all comes together, especially when hunting together online. The feeling of meticulously learning each monster, its weak points and patterns; and then slowly taking it down feels so rewarding.

My main annoyance was when you get someone join you and they use up the last Faint (You're allowed like 4 per mission, so if everyone faints/gets killed) you fail the mission and have to start again. And potentially lose your resources/items. This happened far too often... So infuriating.

 

Amazon has some great deals. Just picked up Shadow of the Tomb Raider for $25. They had Hitman for $19 but I didn't move fast enough and now it's gone : (

 

so far I’ve bought Nier, Last Of Us, Uncharted collection, God Of War and AC Odyssey.

I still plan on buying Diablo 3, Persona 5 and Horizon Zero Dawn.

 

Got a Steelbook of Red Dead Redemption 2 at Wal Mart, I’m in love with this game

 

It really blows my mind that God of War a GOTY candidate is $17 while The Last Of Us remastered was $15 still like that feels like even more of a steal.

 

my final game total was AC Odyssey, The Last Of Us, Nathan Drake collection, God Of War, Nier Automata, Diablo 3 Eternal collection, Persona 5, Batman Return to Arkham and Disney Afternoon collection. I legit made a plan to try and work through these games after Red Dead.

 

I have stopped buying on sale games I don't have time for until I finished the games I want to finish

I'm 25 on Sunday, no doubt my backlog will get even bigger because people always buy me games lol

 

I feel you. These are most likely going to be my final game purchases for a while besides Smash and Kingdom Hearts so I decided to go all out.

 

I definitely only started doing this in the last year or so lol

 

I'm still playing Nioh because I hate myself and my backlog

 

I’m also not afraid to leave games behind if I feel like I’m done though, or games I’m not all that interested in that I bought in a sales frenzy

 

I only give up on games if I don't like them or I'm bored of them. Glad I went back to Nioh because I do really like this game, it's just really time consuming. Then I still need to finish Tales of Berseria... Ugh why are Japanese games so long

 

I only play one game at a time and I always play until I beat it. Right now I have Zelda BOTW and The Witcher 3 sitting unopened next to my TV and they've been there for months lol
