Gamestop has some solid game deals for Black friday (which is actually Thurs at 3 pm for those fuckers) DQ11 is 35 bucks! If anyone is interested i'd say now is the time.

Supposed to get some extra money from work on Fri and debating buying a PSVR; or a Switch. Kinda leaning to VR as it's cheaper. I've also played a lot of switch games I would normally be hyped for on Wii U. already But I'm also thinking of future games (metroid prime 3 etc) Hmmm

 

I've never played Switch, but if you haven't experienced VR yet, give it a shot. RE7 and Skyrim blew me away.

 

I tried that bird flying game at a gaming exhibition the other month and was surprisingly impressed. Do you own one? Feel it's worthwhile if so? I imagine Skyrim would be a lot of fun

 

There’s a new really cool PS VR game apparently, Astro Bot. I think it’s in some Black Friday bundles too? But it’s apparently one of the best VR games ever.

Yes, it's amazing. Expect a pretty big graphical hit (less of a hit on ps4 pro) but you'll get used to it. As posted above, Astro Bot is supposed to be incredible. If you can handle the trauma lmao, play through RE7. It is the best video game horror experience ever in VR, absolutely terrifying.

 

I think you would use the Switch a ton more than the VR.

 

Yea I think that's an easy Switch purchase and I'm not even against VR like a lot of people are. Switch has a shitload going for it.

 

The Tetris Effect does look great!

I already played RE7 but to go through it in VR will amp it up a bit I imagine.

I think overall I definitely agree. My worry is I've already experienced a lot of what it has to offer. I've beat Zelda and all its DLC on Wii U, can continue to play MK8 for free online on it. Still gotta play mario maker and others, already beat DKCTF, still play Splatoon 1 from time to time.

BUT there will be Metroid Prime 3, new Smash, Pokemon and more. But also rumors of a hardware revision are making me hold off. I know this sounds like I'm against a switch. I do actually want one (Mostly for Mario) I'm just unsure right now. But after playing my friends it is a great piece of kit.. hmm

 

Nabbed God of War for $17 and AC Odyssey for $27 from Gamestop for their Black Friday sales. Been holding off on God of War but $17 seemed just too good to pass up. Odyssey was added more for getting free shipping but $27 was good enough to have me interested in it to pull the trigger.

 

this 60 hour work week is going to have me buying so many games.

 

Oh also got Starlink on Switch when Amazon was having a pre-black friday deal of the day on it. Not normally for toys to life things like that but I can't pass up on my Starfox boys
