You just can't compare them like that. An indie game that's made by 5 people isn't worse by default because it's not as pretty as an AAA game

It’s a blurry line these days, but most big games people talk about in here are AAA, whereas say Technomancer is AA. All those online games are hard to classify.

BioShock is my ‘perfect’ game.

RDR2 had me seriously immersed, to the point where I had to see ‘everything’ and 100% it.

I love the Hotline Miami games and Limbo was a work of art.

I have no interest in God of War. Regardless of the platform.

The Last of Us Part II and Destroy All Humans! are the only games I’m genuinely looking forward to.

Will probably get COD cos all my mates will and I miss them.

I want a Switch SOLELY for Cuphead. No other Switch game interests me. With that in mind, when I look at the games and their target audience it just comes across as a toy rather than a ‘platform’ in my mind.

I hate Sekiro because I’m bad at it.

Yakuza consists of far too many PRESS X TO SKIP DIALOGUE moments that it becomes infuriating.

Persona 5 looks naff to me. But I’ve never liked anime kinda things anyway.

Turn-based games boggle me - how the fuck anybody would derive enjoyment from what’s essentially virtual chess is beyond me.

I played The Witcher 3 once at launch. It was buggy af and I was baffled by the praise. It may well be smooth and whatnot now but the glowing praise it received put me off ever bothering with it, and you can’t go 5 minutes without someone claiming it’s the game of a fucking generation - a title I didn’t think it deserved. In a time where ‘crunch times’ and overworked employee stories are coming to light, it’s also irritating to see people casually gloss over the complaints about the exact same thing from that studio - being underpaid, overworked and treated like shit - purely because it’s the popular game that it is.

That is all. Also TimeSplitters 2 deserves a comeback and AC is shit and meant the demise of Prince of Persia so now I hate it even more. This has been...’Ryan’s Shit Opinions’. Xoxoxo
