so, for those that are upset about Pokémon Let’s Go, honest question: would you rather a spin-off like this and a core game alternating every other year, or for Let’s Go to be a one-off thing and for them to go back to the yearly formula?

i just don’t get the flack when in the past the alternative has been stuff like a third “color” that is the same game with almost no difference at full price, or something like “Ultra” Sun which is again pretty much the same game as the year before for full price. i’d much rather have something like Let’s Go or a title that is fundamentally different than the core games than basically playing the same game twice back-to-back years
