Downloading Spyro atm

 

Pokemon Let’s Go is a jumping on point for kids, casuals and lapsed fans that come (back) into the franchise via Pokemon Go. That’s basically what they said at some point. I think they went back to Kanto for simplicity and nostalgia.

 

I understand the going back to Kanto thing, it's the simplified gameplay and only Gen 1 that I don't like. Like we all played Pokémon as a kid and managed to finish those games, the single player is not hard at all.

 

I agree. I just provided GameFreak’s reasoning. I think it’s a bad idea and I hope it won’t infect the main game.

 

On top of it I also think the art looks bad. They were amazing at making pixel art, White/Black were a marvel, but this Switch game somehow looks less vivid than Yo-Kai Watch does on a 3DS.

 

I'm gonna be playing it for the simple fact that it's couch fuckin co-op and my gf loves Pokemon haha

 

Yeah couch co-op is an awesome addition

 

I'm just looking forward to a relaxing game and reliving my childhood haha

 

Yeah of course, I'm not saying it'll be a train wreck or anything

 

I just still don't see what the point was with going this route. Like even Sun and Moon have sold over 14 million copies, Pokémon games have always sold amazingly anyway.

 

Probably seen as something to hold over until the next proper gen comes out I guess, plus it's trying to attract whoever likes Pokemon Go but not necessarily the Pokemon franchise itself. There are still a few around lol

 

Go was a hit with the nostalgia crowd because everyone has a smart phone. I can't see a lot of them buying a Switch to play this lol

 

I guess it's a way of keeping that nostalgia ball rolling

 

hitman 2 is so good. it was already a blast playing around in the stealth sandbox of the last game but the new levels have ruled so far and having the last levels playable with the (mostly minor but very welcome) changes to hitman 2 make this such a great package as a big fan of the last one.

 

Can't wait to try the Prologue (Which is currently free on PS4)

so excited to buy a million games on black friday and only play 1 of them

shout out last year buying 6 and only playing 2

 

13-2 was the only one of these I actually liked but I'm stoked to play that again at least. Getting a One X last Christmas was a worthy investment

 

activision isn't allowing for mixer streamers to stream the spyro collection and that is such a weird thing to do for a video game that is a remaster.

 

Does anyone wanna buy my Fallout 76 digital code for xbox? I’ll cut you a deal.
