Suriel, Imran, Kyle Hilliard, and Jeff Marchiafava were all let go as far as I saw. Jeff was on vacation when it happened. Bullshit. GI does good work and their weekly podcast is always in my rotation. If Gamestop's financial troubles means GI goes away that will be an enormous loss.

Nier really gives you a LOT of quests at the start. Reached the Machine Village and have just fought the Goliaths and I swear I have double the quests.

 

some incredibly creative stuff in here:

the theme this year is only one and people made some cool games. there are the obvious ones like one bullet, one button but then there's stuff like a tower defense game where you only have 1 tower and you have to move it around, or a game where you can only move in 2D but you can manipulate the entire level in 3D mode. there's also a top down zelda-like adventure game where you can only carry 1 item (weapon, key, etc) at a time

 

I think it’d be cool if there was a new matrix game, and one of quality.

In terms of game design that looks like it’s a early to mid-era 360 game

 

I’d rather play RDR2

I agree with this 100%, I loved Origins. I really love all four games though
