Sekiro is GOTY for me right now. The only competition I foresee it having is Death Stranding, Outer Worlds, and Pokémon.

I mean, it’s free with Game Pass so go for it. Don’t let people stop you from trying out a game.

 

Resident Evil 2 is definitely a contender for GOTY, easily the best Resident Evil game since 4.

I adore horror but ruined Resi 7 by watching a streamer play through it in full. I don’t know why I did that. Also the whole cutting off your arm but having it reattach with the herb spray stuff kinda felt TOO silly. Even for Resi.

I’m still gonna give it a shot tonight, but the info’s good to know so that if I’m not enjoying it initially I don’t slog through in hopes it gets drastically better later on

 

And some are more so than others. For some reason zombies and all that shit felt fine until you got your arm chainsawed off and then casually put it back on after spraying it with dat erb. Something that bothered me is all. Plus ya know. Resi 7 is a poor man’s vision of what PT could’ve been.

 

I think in the future Game Pass will have a big say in GOTY races. Assuming microsoft’s new studios produce some heavy hitters in a few years the amount of people that have access at around $10 a month or less will be nuts.

I mainly wonder how Outer Worlds is gonna report sales while launching on Game Pass, it’s cross platform so will it merge PS4 sales and Game Pass subscribers?

 

A lot of games don’t really report sales numbers anymore but players.

We’ll always have NDP and whoever is tracking the Euro charts for some data though.

 

I can see Microsoft using Game Pass numbers in marketing a ton now, I wonder how many unique players Halo Infinite is gonna have if it’s the main launch game.
