mgs 1-3 are brilliant, esp 2. Am cry.

 

MGS 4 has the most absurd story elements in the series

 

MGS1, 3, and Peace Walker all have good, straight-forward stories with eccentric characters. 2 and 4 are very strange and complicate everything. 5 isn't finished.

That being said the two best MGS stories are Peace Walker and 2

 

I hated 4 sooo much. 5 too but at least the gameplay was v good.

 

2 ended up being one of the most relevant narratives in ANY piece of media. Its funny and scary how spot on its ideas on post truth politics, social media and memes, information warfare, and post humanism became. Weve been living it for the last 15 years.

 

Oh God I think MG is so corny lol I never understood what people see in it

Apparently I posted 2 years ago that I've never played a full MGS game but would later that year and I never did and still haven't played a full MGS game

 

that would rule if you Twitched 1 & 2 for the thread

 

I do like the idea of my first ever twitch being something I've never played before so maybe I will

I loved the second one, but havent been able to play one since. Idk why. I guess im not crazy about the stealth shit and combat system
