I haven’t finished Detroit but the story seems like a typical big studio sci fi film plot imo, like someone trying to say SLAVERY/PERSECUTION OF PEOPLE WHO ARE DIFFERENT IS BAD using androids as a plot device to explore that with a broad brush. I honestly don’t mind it that said, it’s serviceable and it doesn’t make the game itself too bogged down. Now again, I haven’t finished it so I’ll see how that opinion holds up when I do.

 

if you guys want a game with great narrative AND fun gameplay, buy Judgment already. can't believe no one is talking about it.

I’m just catching up but if anyone in here thinks Skyrim is better than the Witcher 3

I mean, if someone enjoys Skyrim more, then that’s cool with me. Witcher 3 may be the “better” game and in many ways, it is. That said, I totally can understand why people can’t get into it.

if you enjoy the Yakuza series, I doubt you'll be disappointed! I'm 28 hours in, still in chapter 3, and having a blast with all the side content.

I love the Yakuza series, I just had no idea Judgement had been released. Don't think I've heard anything since the whole drug thing.

is the new LSL still a point & click adventure? haven't played one of those in a long time. need a new Sherlock Holmes, the awakened and the Jack the ripper one were fun.

 

Isn’t the Cthulhu Sinking City game (or whatever it’s called) made by the same folk as the Sherlock Holmes games? It has the investigation mechanics and mind palace stuff for sure.

 

It is still a point and click adventure and has a 71 on metacritic.

 

oh that's right. looked at some gameplay, seemed a little too rough around the edges for me (especially the "combat").
