Cleared the museum palace in P5. 20 hours in. This game is unreal. Can’t believe it took me this long to play it. Absolutely adoring every second.

That video makes me feel so goddamn angry and helpless to do anything about it. I don't know how anyone could watch that video and not think the video game industry has taken a dark and harmful turn for the worse. I've been fully on board for government regulation of microtransactions and loot boxes for a while now at this point and that video only makes me more certain that's what needs to be done. The industry has had plenty of time to correct its destructive behavior and refuses to do so, so there's no other choice anymore really.

Also, that guy from Tribeflame can go jump off a cliff. Absolutely disgusting. And that Polygon article is still one of the worst pieces of shameful, pro-corporate shilling propaganda I've ever seen.

 

I remember when I was buying everything smite and fortnite related for skins and now I am just like why did I waste a good $100+

 

Yeah I got friends that send 100$ on FIFA Ultimate Team Packs every year

 

Thankfully I don't personally know anyone who has been affected by gambling in AAA games but I've heard enough horror stories and have enough of a brain to inherently know it's wrong. If I knew anyone personally that had been affected by them I don't even know how much angrier about it I'd be.

 

I'm really interested to see how far this all goes. Regulating this stuff needs to happen. But where do we draw a line? A lot of people argue that Pokemon Go is implementing its own types of loot boxes, but you NEVER see it being discussed anywhere. They are essentially skirting around it because the mechanism isn't exactly the same.

 

Cavill is a little too pretty but I think he looks good other than that

 

He looks way better than I expected . Nerds will no doubt still have a problem with it though
