Like it or not, you can’t stop talking about RDR2 (and I won’t stop thinking you’re all talking about R2D2 every time you abbreviate it, despite the fact I don’t care for Star Wars anymore).

Other than CTR and MediEvil, both remakes, all I was excited for this year was TLOU2...and that’s not out til next year. Sigh.

MWR could well be good, if it’s going for more tactical gameplay as opposed to the dual-wielding perk-ridden nonsense of most of the series.

Death Stranding looks bizarre and maybe that’ll surprise me. But I won’t pretend I understand a bloody thing any of the trailers go on about.

 

Also I went to get the other half a Switch and they’d sold out. My record for never having paid for a Nintendo product lives on. (Thanks for the game suggestions though - one day I’ll get her them...)

Not a fan of either tbh! Metro I watched a YouTuber play and was kind of underwhelmed, and I’ve never enjoyed a flight game really. Seems to me like that’d get samey real quick?

Damn. Metro is great, especially Exodus.

I know it seems a game like Ace Combat would get samey, but you'd be surprised at how much mileage they get out of the mechanics. The level design is incredible and varied. You probably won't understand much of the story as its steeped in lore that only Ace Combat fans would get. But honestly, I've played all the Metal Gear games and still don't fully understand what the hell was going on. Lol. So, I don't think that should stop you.
