Have no idea what Call of Cthulhu is, but watched this video and seems like I'll continue to have no idea what it is. Sounds bad.

 

To me it's nothing about that and a ton about not having a dual shock controller and no dual shock games.

 

That's fair enough, I never liked the pre-dual shock controllers either.

 

Shout out to all the dudes decrying about how this looks “bad”, y’all should take your rose tinted glasses off and see how poorly the original has aged then.

I don't think it looks bad, I think what they did was tried really hard to make it look and feel retro and that just seems weird for a modern game. I'm glad they're doing it and maybe we'll see something new from the franchise in the future.

Kiwami got nothing on 0 tho

 

Kiwani is a great intro for the series for newcomers plus 0 is $20 now so they can grab that after playing it. Aren’t they putting all the games on PS4?

 

Anyone tried Deltarune yet? I'm gonna download it tonight after work I think and give it a go.

 

I honestly wanted that look above a more realistic one, so I’m happy. It’s supposed to be a silly game to start with.

 

Yeah 3-5 are supposed to be released at some point. The other 4 are already out on ps4

 

I mean, Yakuza Kiwami is literally the first game in the series so I don't know why you wouldn't start with it and of course it's not going to have all the improved gameplay and mechanics of it's successors.

But for what it is, it's a great game and definitely think it's one of the strongest in the series.

 

0 was my starting point and the absolute best. Kiwami wouldn't have had the same impact for me without 0 first. I just started Kiwami 2 so I'm excited to see how that goes

 

Yes, it's fantastic. Lots of...questions about its relationship to Undertale but it's exactly the sort of thing I wanted. Another phenomenal soundtrack too, of course.

between toby fox saying not to talk about the game for 24 hours and the handful of in game conversations referencing doing "tomorrow", really hoping we hear most solid plans about the rest of the game tomorrow, though surprise releases of new chapters would be pretty amazing too

 

Played it for about 3 hours and couldn't get into it.

 

Yakuza is cool but the loading times before fights really got to me. I’m looking forward to play the newest one that doesn’t have those.
