It’s good, starts to get tough pretty quickly, idk how many acts there are but I haven’t made it past 2 yet, feels fair though. Love the deck building. It’s very easy to just keep playing

*cough* I really don’t like any of the Dead Rising sequels *cough*

Loved the original so so much. The others never seemed to have any of the charm the first did. And just got progressively more ridiculous, to it’s detriment in my opinion. Kinda like what happened with the Saints Row games I guess.

 

Dead Rising 2 was just as good as 1. The other two look bad

 

Dead Rising got the tone right, Dead Rising 2 improved a lot of the mechanics from the first (most notably the survivors lol) and introducing combo weapons. Dead Rising 3 was good but quite boring and I don't even want to play the 4th

 

I think the step from last gen to current gen consoles frankly wasn’t big enough to have a game like Dead Rising make an impressive leap. It might happen next time though.

Their podcasts stopped right away, not even good-bye episodes or anything. There's no way that's not Valve's doing lol

 

Yeah they made it seem like they'd be back eventually, it's been over a year now. I'm not on Twitter often but they don't seem to say anything in there either and the development blog stopped

 

They don’t say anything and they don’t answer questions about the podcasts etc. so I really think they’re basically not allowed to lol
