I love this thread because it’s less toxic, less hive-mindy, less serious, less capital-g-Gamer-y than any of the other gaming forums out there. That said I’ve dipped out of here twice in the past few years because some of the talk moves from “respectfully joking around and expressing opinions” into outright personal attacks and insensitivity veiled as goofing around. I agree that we all need to watch how we say things at times and try to be kinder in general, and I include myself in that when I say it.

there was a thread in ap once something like describe a band with a single sentence, someone joked about Thrice being a band that just accidentally steps on guitar fx pedals while making albums because the floor was filled with them for some reason and idk it just stuck and always make me laugh when i remember it
