Is anyone playing Bloodstained on Switch? I was going to pick it up after work but I’m hearing the port is super bad

Check out the Nintendo Switch subreddit, a lot of posts about it over there, none of em good lol. I mean it will get patched up but who knows when.

 

if the Switch subreddit is complaining about it then it must be a nuclear disaster

 

The game crashes and theres no auto-save.

 

yeah I'm going to give Bloodstained a miss and finish Hollow Knight instead.

That's really fucking sad regarding Etika . He's around my age too and it hits home for me.

In my early 20's, I attempted to take my own life twice. I was forced into seeing a doctor by my older sister, my only close family left, who had to threaten to call authorities unless I agreed to get in her car and go to the hospital with her. It was there that I was forced to talk about the first time I tried and I had a complete breakdown having to tell a stranger, as well as her. I got a wristband slapped on me and was told I couldn't leave until morning. It's horrific coming to terms with depression. It feels impossible, and it almost is in America. I felt so much shame and anxiety (which I still fight today). I am in a very different place now with a job I feel proud of and much more stability in my friendships and relationship. But it took years. Years of help and years of work.

To be someone with so much attention, but also directly dealing with a toxic community of people constantly criticizing you and bashing you like he was, I can't even comprehend. I wouldn't be able to handle it. We need better schooling and education on depression. I didn't even know what I was dealing with as a kid growing up and never understood why I was the way I was in certain aspects until I had help. I hope his family and friends have the support they need to mourn and carry on with their lives. Talking about my experience and letting people know there is always another way out of depression is the best I have to offer. Believing it is the first step, and the hardest.
