Yeah, I don't know - but it was definitely all the TV settings that needed to be changed and not the Xbox. Made me think how much I've been missing out on the S with all those settings off all this time.

 

Man, the list for the PS Classic is so underwhelming considering what they’re charging for it.

 

Wild Arms alone is worth it imo, one of the best games ever. Plus, Persona!

 

Like they couldn’t get the original Crash Bandicoot on that? No Tomb Raider? No Suikoden II? Hell, they couldn’t even put Medevil on it? Plus, I know they’re going to put the edited/censored versions of RE and Persona on that so that just makes it worse.

 

They probably didn't want to put Spyro/Crash/Medievil since those are all getting remakes/already have a remake.

I think the list is pretty solid and I'll probably end up picking one up.

 

with thousands of games released on PS1, there's guaranteed disappointment with a lineup of 20. I mean, I'm disappointed, too, I wanted Parasite Eve so bad!!!!

 

I think there's absolutely no reason for me to get one especially since they don't have any dualshock games because of the controller they chose and the likely fact that you'll be getting the edited versions. It's a little upsetting because you can buy a Vita or a Vita TV (which I know are more expensive) and have access to hundreds of PS 1 Classics. If you get a Vita TV you can even play with a PS4 controller.

I wish they would just make those games available on the PS4.

Rainbow Six was pretty big during that time, I remember lots of people having it and playing it

 

Like what made the NES/SNES Classic so good was that they had the best titles or at the very least the ones that sums up those generations. Like this is the best they could do? It’s just disappointing considering how many truly great titles the PSX had and most of the titles on this are not what I or many would pick. Now maybe this came ultimately down to rights issues and if that’s the case, I understand.

 

Super fun game at the time, but it would be such a drag for me playing it now haha

 

I think it’s that now we are starting to get closer to current gen systems and it’s probably more economically sound to invest in remastering a game.

 

So people in the industry think that's basically what it came down to and that's also the other reason why they didn't announce all the games at once.

 

Makes sense, probably better they went that route versus making promises they couldn’t keep.

 

I also think the SNES did so well because it had the new Starfox included.

 

Man, I had to play the first level of the original to unlock that and hoo boy, was that a slog to get through.

 

I totally get reliving your childhood but if I had the choice in front of me to play Starfox on the SNES versus RDR2 on my 4K TV I don’t think it would be too hard of a choice.

 

The Japanese version looks much better by comparison

 

Interesting, good thing you got it sorted though. It's funny because when I got the TV I don't think I changed much of anything settings wise....

I think I should still take a peak and make some adjustments because I worry I'm just settling for the factory shit...

 

Of course FF VII would be included.

On your Xbox it should automatically detect if you have a 4K TV and ask if you want to use optimal settings but it may vary based upon the choice of TV.

Again, I had to go to my Samsung TV settings and turn on some UHD settings, then everything had a green check mark.
