I don’t like games with swords and magic and dragons and I’ve never seen GoT *runs real fucking fast* also I don’t like lord of the rings AHHHH

 

the world is so fucking dense haha no exploration tangent went unrewarded. the ending was phenomenal imo. i can agree that the Baldur fights suffered in the name of being cinematic but the rest of this is a hard no from me

My favorite so far is probably 9 which is maybe weird

 

i'd say i tired of the valkyrie fights but that was more because most of them were more or less endgame content and it always irks me when a game locks out gear/perks until the portion of the game where you're kitted out and proficient enough to not really need them. otherwise i was very engaged

 

9 has a case for the best jrpg on DS and that's saying something

 

i feel like DQ9 is lowkey a Golden Sun around here

CTR is an amazing game, I adore it and played the shit out of it as a kid, but I’m not going to get the remake because I know I won’t play it lol
