I roam where I please

 

It's been a while, but I think that's like half?

 

About half way or so, maybe a bit further.

 

Cannot believe we will have Red Dead 2 so soon....game will consume my life for a while I'm sure. Probably going to swing between that and Forza for the rest of the year and into the holidays.

 

Little more than halfway if I'm remember correctly.

Mexico was kind of a drag, imo.

 

should i play RDR1 before RDR2? or is it like GTA where you just might get some references from other games previously released but the story is otherwise independent?

RDR 2 is a prequel to RDR 1. The main character from the 1st game is present in this one, along with his family, along with several other members of the gang. I would assume RDR1 is not necessary but would definitely help inform some of the characters.

I’m not that worried about Battlefield’s royale launching later. That’s just an added bonus for me, the normal combat alone is why I’m a fan over Call of Duty (although BO4 is a blast). I have always had more faith in the Battlefield group creating a better BR experience, and them delaying it just equals more time to focus solely on developing that as opposed to developing it alongside everything else. Yeah they will have to update the rest of the game, but I’m confident their BR will be a blast. All depends on the combat though, if they nail that, everything else will be fine.

Still kind of confused as to what exactly Tides of a War IS though lol. Like what is the point of it?

Alright I fucked around and pre ordered RDR2 and am preloading it now

 

this mean we're playing some fortnite this weekend

 

I really want RDR2 but I know if I get it then I will never finish Assassin's Creed or Dragon Quest. My best bet is waiting for Christmas.

 

Digital foundry went hard on that RDR2 analysis, Native 4K on Xbox One X geeeez

Key notes:

* XBX runs in native 4K
* PS4 Pro 1920 x 2160
* XBX best performance with a few drops in towns
* PS4 Pro next best thing with solid framerate in wilderness but again dropping some frames in towns.
* PS4/XB One have better overall performance than RDR1 had in 360/ps3 hardware. There are drops even to the low-mid 20s at some points though.
* Visual parity in terms of rendering for all versions. (same assets/foliage etc)
* PS4 1080p
* XB One 864p
* No evidence of dynamic resolution in any of the versions tested.
* DF consider the game a stunning achievement regardless and believe the XBX X version is the best and by a considerable margin.

 

I have the game ready to go on my X w/ my 4K TV. Can't believe it runs native, that's insane.

 

I have no idea what native means but I'm excited even if I'm running it on a basic xbox one
