See I want more Banjo-style games. I think that's a niche that a smaller studio like Playtonic could comfortable fill and find success with, both because it has so much nostalgia for people who grew up with the N64 generation and because it's a timeless gameplay style imo. So I'm a bit disappointed they're going this route for a sequel, personally. I really wanted them to build on the Yooka-Laylee foundation and make a potential Twoka-Laylee even better (and then a Yooka-Laythree after that).

But it still does look cool and I do adore the DKC games, especially Retro's.

 

I think the Banjo games are fine but they have not aged well. It would be great if they could recreate them for the current gen.

I can’t figure out why everyone loves this game. I remember playing it, it was just okay, definitely something I was done with after the blockbuster rental was over

Doesn’t mean it isn’t disappointing.

 

Why? You know it exists so why not be excited to see an official announcement/trailer?

 

I feel like video game leaks are fine. (Unless you’re Jason Schreier leaking the entirety of Fallout 4 months and months in advance) or an insider just trying to be like “lol I know things”

Typically, it’s just the title and shit like that. Can’t think of many times where a trailer leaked or something.

Also with distributors and retail existing it’s almost impossible to avoid.

 

Oh, I get it. It’s just annoying it’s TWO days before E3! Oh well!

 

Nah I definitely get it. I typically read a good bit of info because I invenitably miss conferences that are earlier in the day.

For example, if I went online and read a Fable 4 leak right now I’d probably be pissed off haha

 

The leak was for one of Ninja Theory’s games they have been working on since 2014. It’s a MP 4v4.

 

So it’s probably multiplatform? I didn’t look much into the leak

 

I’m not sure since they are under the wing of Microsoft now but I’m assuming so. But it is confirmed that it is the smaller team and not the one that worked on Hellblade.

 

I wonder if we’ll get a super super super early tease of what The Initiative is working on

 

FromSoftware’s newest project. With the help of George R.R. Martin.
