Battle for Bikini Bottom was HUGE in my childhood, I absolutely loved that game. Not sure I want to see if it still holds up though lol

I think Microsoft and Nintendo are gonna knock it out of the park this E3

The fact that Nintendo was able to give Pokémon it’s own ~16- minute direct a week before E3 and still have enough to fill their usual Tuesday morning presentation, like they don’t need Pokémon in there as a heavy-hitter, leads me to believe it’s going to be a good one.

It's my favourite series so I'm always excited for new Pokémon, but this is another level of excitement I'm feeling

honestly it would make sense to me to see Nintendo have a light E3 and save big stuff for future directs. there is so much competition for headlines during E3 whereas whenever a Direct drops Nintendo dominates the internet for the day. i think we get a lot of good stuff about already announced titles, an "after the presentation" release, some DLC for a title we aren't expecting like Mario Kart or Party, and maybe one big new game. maybe some light roadmap stuff for NSO VC releases

Put out a 16 minute long video showing (most likely) the biggest game that Nintendo has coming out before E3 that dominates the headlines. Marketing genius.

I believe Nintendo stressed that their Direct is going to focus primarily on Switch titles launching in 2019, some of which have only been shown briefly to this point. I expect to see lots of Luigi's Mansion, Animal Crossing and probably Link's Awakening. There's also a chance they announce a Metroid Prime trilogy for Switch. It's been rumored, and apparently has shown up in in a few retailer's systems already.

  16. Stadia details

    - Launch in November in 14 countries (including Canada)
    - You can preorder the "founder's edition" of Stadia for 169$ today, which includes the gamepad, a Chromecast Ultra (which is 6cm in length), Destiny 2 and three months of subscription
    - Stadia works through a subscription only at first. The Stadia Pro sub costs 11.99$ per month and will include streaming up to 4K/60fps. Note that only "older" games will be included in this sub, and more recent games will have to be bought separately.
    - A separate sub will be available in 2020, and is completely free. It'll only allow up to 1080p streaming, and won't include any game like the Pro sub.
    - 10mbps in download/1mbp in upload is the minimal requirement, with 35mbps required for 4K "optimal comfort".
    - You'll need the Chromecast for Stadia to work at launch, but it's planned to work through any Google device with Google Chrome in 2020.
    - Games planned include Destiny 2, Assassin's Creed Odyssey, The Divison 2, DOOM, all three Tomb Raider games.
    - Line-up will have 31 games at launch.

The fact Stadia is subscription only at first doesn't surprise me, but also completely turns me off of the service.

It’s all games that have been out for a long time. Is it only going to be AAA games?

cant believe no exclusives were talked about. also very peculiar to see this before 5G becomes more ubiquitous. i dont really see who this is for.

Curious though if it'll be the full game (Forsaken + year 2 annual pass) instead of just the free-to-play base game that's coming.
