the Ouya played a part in giving us Towerfall which is the best couch competitive game ever made and for that i will always owe it a debt of gratitude

Weird way to spell Smash

 

id sacrifice Smash in exchange for Towerfall without wincing

 

like i love Smash but the lead-up hype is always the most fun part of it, i play it a bunch for a month and then watch that amount dwindle pretty quickly and then its years til the next game and I get enough people to have fun with it maybe once every few months in between. Towerfall has been a fixture for a few years and is still so fun and far from stale. literal perfect mix between simplicity and customizable craziness.

doesn't help that the Smash community is largely a bunch of shitheads who are allergic to the suite of features it has and drain the fun out of it

 

Standalone auto chess news is cool, seems like Valve handled that well. Wonder what the differences were that led to the original devs not being interested.

 

they seem hellbent on becoming the flagship auto chess for mobile and i dont blame them one bit

yeah and i get why most would pick Smash but if you give me three friends and the option id pick Towerfall and i can say the same for at least my gf and my friend i most game with, we love it so much

 

i have at least 5. FIVE. beyond that it gets hazy but its enough for Towerfall dan

 

I'm one of @Shrek's friends and would gladly sit on a couch to play competitive with him leave my friend alone
