play around with different combos of mouse sensitivity! my dpi is about 350 but in-game, it varies. i've noticed a lot of fps players play with a really low sensitivity. you can also hook up your xbox controller to pc. my cousin plays the division 2 on controller because it's much easier for him.

I don't mean to already pick it apart, but, the gameplay footage looked more like an action RPG as opposed to the turn-based style of the original. And I'm actually a fan of turn-based over action. Time will tell I suppose.

 

They’ve said from the start it wasn’t going to be turn based

 

Pretty sure they said up front that it was going to have the FFXV battle system

 

My only complaint from that is I don’t think they brought George back to voice Sephiroth (def didn’t sound like him anyway)

 

Looks awesome. Going to love playing through the world of FFVII with these visuals and an ARPG battle system. It’ll make the content feel so fresh.

Are they still doing it episodically though? That was the one thing I wasn’t a fan of re: the original plans for the game. Don’t know if the development reboot changed that.

 

Never understood the hate for turn based... More fun than button mashing because you actually have to put some thought into it

 

Yeah, I don’t understand why people hate turn-based battles either. I mean preferences are a thing but turn-based games are so good. Like, I get it if they’re not someone’s thing but *hating* them is so extreme and unwarranted.

 

When Persona 5 was getting a lot of hype in the west, I saw loads of comments like "didn't know it was turn based, not interested now". Like you said, preferences are a thing, but I really don't get how you could hate every turn based game.

 

I’ve definitely played a couple games where you have to perform “maintenance” on your weapons and it’s never a big deal.

 

Right and hate is just so over the top and unwarranted too. Like, I get it if it’s not your thing but HATING it? Like why?

 

How can you hate turn based games when Lost Odyssey exists

 

My position is, if it’s going to be an involved and complex system then it’s annoying and detracts from the fun, but if it’s not a big deal then it’s a meaningless inconvenience so why even have it in the first place, you know?

Makes me wonder how many turn based games they've even tried. Of course there are bad ones, but then some of the best games I've ever played are turn based. It's their loss tbh
