Laura and I are playing original Gold/Silver right now as she's trying to get into it

I wanted to go HG/SS but couldn't find em

 

last i checked a couple years ago they go for like $40 loose or $60 with box

For that price we'll probably do OR/AS after or US/UM

 

Think they're a bit cheaper since the Go nostalgia hype died off

 

yep i think it's a weird situation where the addition of the Pokewalker raises the price of a "complete" copy higher than most DS games so in turn people get away with selling loose for more than most, can't imagine it's a low production issue or anything like that

was going to ignore P5R because I am only going to play that game twice and assumed the second time was going to be on the switch

guess I am now eagerly anticipating P5R

 

I mean, this is technically right and wrong at the same time. While Persona 3 Portable (P3P) did cut content in terms of the anime cutscenes and the ability to walk around the city (it's replaced with fast travel), it also added the ability to play as the female protagonist, new music tracks, new social links and a refined combat system.

FES is great, but so many people love FeMC (female main character) that they'll play P3P forever because Atlus still won't make another female protagonist.

 

Persona 5 is being turned into a Dynasty Warriors-style beat-’em-up

 

FES is the only version with the epilogue isn't it?

Yeah. The epilogue is pretty decent. It's a nice little bit of side story, but nothing vital.
