Well yeah, 360 has arguably the best Western games library though

AC Unity forever!!!

 

You guys all made me realize I totally forgot about the Wii and Wii U which I had haha

 

I hate AC Unity so much it's easily the worst game in the franchise.

 

Second worst, at least it's a proper game, unlike the demo that it's AC1

 

I would, without a second though, choose to replay Assassin's Creed 1 over Unity. It wasn't perfect, but I still really liked it at the time and it was at least ambitious and trying to do something. I also liked the setting and the modern day story was interesting to me.

 

Unity was fine once they updated it and sorted the bugs. I really liked the location.

 

The location was absolutely amazing

The location is the only good thing about it

 

I don’t really understand what bothers people about it. It was a competent stealth game, in a city, with lots of climbing. So, like every city-AC game. It’s not the best one of those but it’s not particularly worse than any one of them. Combined with the absolutely stunning location, I think that game was easily an 8, provided you played it once it got fixed or you were lucky to begin with (like me - I never had issues). Victory is much better, but Victory is also nothing short of amazing. I feel like a lot of people would be a lot less harsh about Unity if it was exactly the same in terms of gameplay and location but attached to another IP. In terms of open world atmosphere creation it did some things with crowds and so that no game has come close to since.

 

hot take the only thing i like about the AC games is the setting.

 

Unity is the next AC game for me. Gave up on Black Flag, so Unity will be next when I am in the AC mood.

 

Let's talk about the one AC that matters:

The Armored Core series.

 

I found AC Unity to be very boring, just wasn't enjoying it at all

 

That’s valid, you never know what grabs you and what doesn’t. I had the same with Revelations, for no specific reason.

 

Playing Unity 6-7 months post-launch, when most of the technical problems had been ironed out, was one of the best gaming decisions I ever made. I really enjoyed that one because I waited.

 

From Software should’ve added a super easy mode.
