Has anyone played the Dragons Dogma game that's about to come out for switch? Thoughts? Comparisons?

 

It's like a mix between Golf Story and BOTW

I played it for a few hours and it was alright. Don't remember any dungeons sadly

 

It’s kinda like Monster Hunter or the non-story parts of Xenoable (especially XCX). It’s good. Not very polished or opulent though.

 

It really looks like it'll be fun on the Switch though. There aren't enough games like that on the system right now.

Has anyone else played the final season of Telltale TWD? I just beat it today and I'm not gonna type out a whole thing if nobody else really cares, but I thought it was amazing, either the best or second best season of the series

It made me realize that Clementine might be the most I've ever actually cared about a video game character's well-being before, I was dreading her being bit literally the entire last episode so much that I was shaking a little bit while I played lol, and they totally got me with the bait-and-switch, I'm so fucking happy that her story ended happily

I know their business practices weren't great to say the least but I'm really gonna miss Telltale games

SSD in the console is pretty nice, hopefully Xbox will do the same

I'm trying to link my Twitch Prime (which apparently I have because of Amazon) to my EA account, but it turns my EA account is linked to the email address that used to be linked to my Xbox Live account, but that email address no longer exists. On the Xbox, that is not problem as the gamertag is apparently linked to the EA account forever, but I still can't log into my EA account and I of course cannot change the password. I therefore also can't link a new EA account to my Xbox (in order to claim Prime rewards for my Xbox), because I can't disconnect the one currently linked.

It's a mess.

 

Backwards compatibility was to be expected. The reason it wasn't a thing before (or via work arounds only) was because of the frequent architecture changes, but these current consoles are really just PCs now. Still cool though.

 

Still can't believe there was people moaning about the Switch price lol

 

EA Origin accounts are ridiculous. My account is linked to my old roommates email that he doesn't have access to from years ago, and there's literally no way for me to unlink it besides calling them and trying to deal with them for hours. I don't know why they do it this way.
