The Xbox thread would still somehow be us arguing about BOTW

 

To be fair can you imagine how awesome Botw would look at 4K 60fps on Xbox one x?

 

It'd be magnificent, you could really make out every dungeon that's not there

I just haven’t enjoyed a single thing I’ve played since feb.

And by done, I’m done for a few months I guess in reality haha.

Why are we arguing about easy modes?

 

Nobody is arguing about easy modes, the question was whether a dev should be forced to include an easy mode if they don’t want to.

 

I think BotW could’ve used one or two big dungeons

 

BOTW doesn't need an easy mode because normal difficulty already was easy mode

 

I loved both of the Retro-developed DK Country games, I just never used the assist features when I died a lot. It’s not that hard to resist lol

 

Assist mode made a lot of sense in DK because they appeal to young kids. Not saying they are for kids obvi

 

Donkey Kong was too hard for me lol

 

Something like that makes sense in lots of games whether they appeal to kids or not.

But yeah those games are not for kids without that feature lol they’re brutally difficult if you want to 100% them.

 

At the Google Cloud conference where they had a booth with Stadia, so I tried it out.

 

nintendo still using friend codes, can't get any more OG than that

 

Forgot how cool the idea of garrisons were in WoD, it's fun to level them up but they really neutered the professions (though they've never been the strongest suite in the first place)

honest question: has anyone considered that these nameless faceless internet people that you think are masquerading out of shame may actually have issues with accessibility? we sure are quick to say it’s an act when we are all, at least seemingly, folks without any outside limitations on what we are or aren’t able to play

the film argument is asinine. anyone who can sit through a children’s film can sit through the deepest one out there, and if they don’t understand it, they can talk with others or read up online and come to a better understanding. there is no barrier to entry or completion. some people literally cannot play these games lol
