slow news day so here's some light twitter comedy by yours truly

 

If I were serious in naming a best game ever made I think I'd probably give that title to Tetris. It's not my favorite game, but I do enjoy it a lot. When you think of the universal appeal of the game along with how long it's been around and how adaptable it is it's really hard to think of something else that could top it. It lends itself to so many possibilities and the games become these new iterations that are wildly clever and unique while maintaining the core hook. Battle Royale, VR rhythm, weird anime thing that crosses over with another puzzle game, a spherical Tetris game, invisible Tetris, etc.

Tl;dr: Tetris is fucking nuts.

Made some significant progress in SotN. My god some of the enemies in this game tho are crazy for just being in the first hour. Plus I’m not crazy about the attack delay, and terrible jump physics. Coming from Hollow Knight to this is wayyyyy too weird lol. Still having fun tho

I was really let down with Catalyst. I feel like the open world concept works in theory but in gameplay it didn't live up to the potential. There are so many great set pieces in the original and it was fun perfecting the best lines. In Catalyst you could go anyway you wanted and this made it more difficult to find the best and quickest ways. Combat was improved though.
