I don’t even know what I want anymore, haha.

Really I want a good gameplay loop, good “gamefeel” and a setting that doesn’t make me feel bad or ideally makes me feel good. Any type of game can be that, but most aren’t.

I put way too many hours into Halo 2 which is why I don't play multiplayer games anymore, lol.

I want to be interested in the game the whole time. I think I could play a 500 hour Persona game but that's about it lol

My brother wants a PS4 for his bday even though he rarely used his PS3. Alrighty then...

Don't know the exact number, but I definitely would have played 100+ on the DS one

OH MAN. SOMEONE HERE GETS IT

A NEW BEGINNING WAS RAD AS WELL

(Harvest Moon went to shit once the companies changed. Now the real Harvest Moon is called Story of Seasons and the team using the Harvest Moon name now are creating absolutely trash games)

I have made that public service announcement many times in here lmao

I do think that the Story Of Seasons games (and A New Beginning) have horrible engines, those games run so terribly. I went back to A New Beginning right after Stardew Valley becaused I missed the Harvest Moon vibe but the framerate made my head hurt after Stardew Valley. The new Switch game by that same creator, Dragon Cafe or whatever, also runs like shit. It’s a shame because there’s so much good stuff in those games.

A New Beginning does run poorly but nearly as badly as Dragons Cafe where turning the camera hurts the game haha

Which is amazing given that the game still looks like a 3DS but is on a Switch and still runs like ass lmao

So I have finished Spider-Man, God of War and WOW WHAT A SERIES!!! What I'm looking for next is an RPG. I've played kyrim, Witcher, Final Fantasy but never Dragon Quest. Seen XI was, apparently, a big change in the series so is it worth it or do I just wait for RDR2?

Dude, get DQ 11. I have always been lukewarm on the DQ series, they are pretty good but never really grab me to the point where it's all I wanna play. This one changed it all, it is outstanding in every way you want a JRPG to be.

I got it. Played it for about 5 hours then moved on, loved the game but it fucking overwhelms me. I have so much to do and suck at organizing and prioritizing lol

Yeah so the good Harvest Moon/Story Of Seasons games have two differences compared to Stardew Valley: the setting is more Japanese and they are more unforgiving. So basically if you played SV, you played HM/SoS and if you where overwhelmed by SV then you really shouldn’t play HM/SoS, haha.

If you do want to play HM because you like Stardew Valley and what I said sounds appealing, I’d probably recommend to find a way *COUGH COUGH* to play Friends of Mineral Town.

I remember playing HM on GameCube as a kid with my sister, and we were addicted to it and our Mother just couldn't understand why we enjoyed playing a game about farming so much lol
