Yeah not sure normals have been a thing worth doing beyond getting the gear to do heroics in awhile, its definitely a gear treadmill to get to mythic if you are intending to do the cutting edge stuff, but I get balancing it the way it is for folks who want to experience the story content while it's relevant.

 

FFXIVs update with all the FF6 stuff was the most perfect fan service shit ever.

 

NieR Automata 24 man raids in the next expansion

im allowed to post this because i used to smoke crack. now i just play wow

 

It's dumb but I think one of the reasons I've never globbed onto FFXIV is that the GCD thing is almost a deal-breaker for me because it makes the combat just slow enough that I never find it quite as satisfying as WoW, despite FFXIV having really consistent encounter design and making engaging content at all levels in terms of dungeons.

Every time I play it I end up falling deep into the crafting systems because it's so good!

when BFA was in beta they added a ton of shit to the GCD that hadnt been on the GCD ever, it made the game feel soooooo fucking terrible and they reversed most of it

 

We will hype each other into it

 

But now I can be a dinosaur druid in WoW, so that's gonna be my life now... after a rep grind

 

im still trying to grind out highmountain rep so i can be an antler tauren

 

I was having a lot of fun with my Red Mage, there just wasn't enough going on to make me wanna keep playing

 

Yikes, really makes you wonder what the design team is thinking... have they had significant departures since Legion? I'm sure some folks in the community are putting a lot of blame on Activision.

 

Love that they are the same skins, but with antlers. But I do like that mining speed perk as that's usually what my druids get to do professions wise, mining/herbalism.

 

Play FF5 ASAP plz

 

Oh also the upcoming ESO expansion goes to Khajiit land or something right? That might make me play because Khajiit are my favs

 

morheim left the company after BFA launched so yeah lol. people blaming activision are missing the fact that activision has been in the picture since 2008. if its their influence then they need to realize their influence isnt anything new and has been there for 11 years now. but more likely, this is blizz making the decisions on their own. blizz are a huge gaming company, huge gaming companies are fucking garbage, they dont need activision to help them be garbage
