(I loved my time with FFXIV, but I can't imagine playing it with a controller since I'm used to having 800 keybinds available at all times... was nice to hook up a xbone controller and do the mining though)

ESO feels way too weightless for me to ever get into it, but I don't have much have an attachment to elder scrolls or anything Betehesda much at this point either..

So I've heard, I'm still leveling so I haven't seen any of the supposed BFA bullshit yet. If it's as bad as everyone says I'll probably swap to FFXIV when that expansion rolls out

 

Do people still play runescape

 

and by that I mean play if for 16 hours a day while I neglect my girlfriend and cats

 

ESO is about to get a huge expansion in a few months right

My only experience with ESO was playing the beta and I had a guy following me around the whole time making fun of me because he thought my character was too fat

Fun game though, I've considered going back

 

my mistake with FFXIV is that whenever I take a break I try to roll a new character so I have to drag my ass through the story for the 80th time despite the game allowing you to dynamically switch classes on the same character.

I have a weird need to experience the whole thing every time.

 

why would you start a new character dude?

 

I was a MASSIVE runescape player back in the day, to the point that I still get the urge to play every now and then

I get paranoid about forgetting my rotation, especially since I tend to focus on tanking and heals, and ruining the dungeon/primal/raid experience of other folks who get partied with me.

Does the game have any "picking-it-back-up" tutorial stuff in it?

 

I would just go youtube videos and then find a dummy in a town to practice rotations in. I get being nervous about doing runs with parties but fuck it, the community is usually super friendly and helpful in my experience.

 

I miss hittin that BLM rotation
