I do and I didn't even notice the difference at first. It wasn't until I watch a 4K dvd and switched back to Blu Ray at a mates house that I noticed and the difference is pretty crisp. I'd recommend if you're looking to upgrade your gaming system.

 

Should also mention I have a Samsung 55" Curved LED TV Smart 4K Ultra HD UE55NU7670 which my banking bonus paid for otherwise I'd be happy with the HD TV .

 

I have a PS4 Pro and I want to see the HDR and such. Thanks for the suggestion!

 

Some can be a bit pricey. You'll not know the different until you go back thought. I remember watch HD then thinking nothing changed then going back to SD and it just rattled me right up!

What type of games do you play?

 

Mostly those awesome week/hentai games you hear everyone talking about. Gotta get me some of those anime girls in 4K.

Just kidding, I usually play stuff like Uncharted, Tomb Raider, Yakuza, Wolfenstein, Destiny 2, Dying Light and a bunch more I can't think of haha

I'm currently playing FIFA. Just finished God of War, Destiny 2 and the new Spider-Man. I'm hoping to get Dragon Quest shortly but Odyssey, Fallout and RDR2 are out so soon and I can't choose.

I think I need to retire to keep up with all the games coming out

 

I appreciate how massive and detailed and huge games have become, but also I kind of miss when I could knock out an open world RPG in 30 hours and feel like I did everything worth doing.

Are Videogames Too Long?

I mean...then don't play the bad games?

 

I get through games pretty slowly because my attention span is basically shot so every game can probably be a few hours shorter as far as I'm concerned

 

Gone Home is super short. Any shorter and it'd just be a screenshot.

 

Lol ya true. Despite not really being the kind of game I usually seek out, I enjoyed Gone Home a lot

 

I’ve always thought complaining about video games being too long shows a certain degree of privilege that a lot of people that also play video games don’t have. Plenty of people buy games partly because they are long, to stretch their money. That’s not to say you can’t complain about it.

 

Out of all the things to complain about in games today length seems like such a trivial thing in comparison.

 

Gone Home is a one shot thing anyway, why complain?

 

I think when people complain about length they're really complaining about games being full of filler to extend the length. I feel like most games are way longer than they need to be but yeah, I just play less of those games. Some people like super long games so it's cool for them.

 

My attention span sucks, yay for quick and easy MP games

 

I think the dollar/time ratio is one of the reasons those games are so popular, because you can play them forever

 

Whereas I get bored of those games so quick and would rather have an engaging story.
