I really want to buy the borderlands handsome collection right now

but I also want my sanity and not lose 100 hours so I’m probably not going to do that

 

haven't been able to play Sekiro in a week and Lady Butterfly is still kicking my ass. I've gotten so close only to get wiped out in an instant by doing something stupid.

 

I like Twilight Princess more than Wind Waker, but I think both are good games. One just feels more epic and rewarding to me.

 

What are you struggling with? Just dodge to the left and hit her. Rinse repeat.

my own impatience. I know what to do and everything goes great until halfway through the second phase and then I drop the ball.

 

The 2nd phase with the butterflies (heh) was annoying as hell.
Oh I recommend popping the blue candy when she respawns.

 

happened to me a ton. or my lock on would just drop and she'd hit me from behind with her glowing balls or land on me and fuck me up.

 

The lock on was not my friend during that fight.

 

yeah my lock-on will drop occasionally and then I panic and run around until I can gather my bearings lol

completely forgot about those damn sugars.

 

Honestly in most my successful runs I don’t even have to use the estus (hehe), but the candies are a nice placebo for me to do better haha

The camera/finicky lock-on targeting system is literally my only complaint about Sekiro. Everything else was perfect.

 

yeah 2nd phase of butterfly was so annoying. i didn’t have the snap seed either so she kept recovering her posture when she summoned the ghosts. during the second phase i tried to play the long game and just hit her when i was so sure wouldn’t hit back

i waa able to finish her last week fortunately. but i feel like if i try to do that again i would struggle just as much as i did

 

You don't actually have to kill the spirits in the Butterfly fight. If you just run around the arena dodging them she eventually turns them all into butterfly projectiles and shoots them at you. Dodge those and then you can go back to taking down her vitality. Once her vitality gets low enough, you'll be able to break her posture in the time between when she gets rid of the spirits and when she spawns new ones. It's a longer way of doing the fight but it works.

Yeah I just accepted the 2nd phase is going to take me longer I wasn’t going to farm for snap seeds.

 

So many of the game’s fights can be won just by slowly whittling vitality down while avoiding the enemy entirely. It’s basically how I beat the final boss lol

 

unrelated but sat down to start Guacamelee and ended up playing right through to the final boss, fantastic game

might start Ori tmrw

 

you are going to love Ori. absolutely cannot wait for the new one later this year.

 

I felt like I was playing Bloodborne during the Lady Butterfly fight lol
