I can't believe how close RDR2 is, I remember GTAV consuming my life for like a solid year+ lol

 

Hoping the online comes sooner rather than later. Gives me enough time to get through it and not be distracted by the multiplayer

 

It's not coming out until at least a month after launch, probably depends on how the beta goes

 

I honestly hope the posse feature is back. If it is, we all ought to form a Chorus posse.

I didn’t even realize RDR2 was coming out in a few weeks. I thought it was like November until I watched the video today and went oh dang.

 

I’m hoping it takes a couple months to come. I want to fully experience the game and complete it properly before touching multiplayer. The sooner the online comes the sooner I’ll annoy myself for wasting time not getting online trophies and progressing there. I hate how much importance I put on meaningless things :)

 

Think I might just have to pre-order RDR2. I can't believe how good it looks.

 

I think Spider-Man and DQXI made me forget RDR2 was out soon

 

End of this year is packed. RDR2, Spider-Man, and I'm actually excited for AC: O

 

Don't forget: BO4, Smash and Super Mario Party! Definitely a big stack this year

I had so much fun with the game throughout all of last year despite the bugs they dealt with. I actually re-downloaded it last night to play it with some friends who never played it.

It’s incredibly disappointing the stupid lawsuit got in the way to prevent any further content.

 

I did not realise Assassin's was out Friday lol

 

AC:Odyssey is really impressing me. The lack of PC review code makes me thing I should grab it on PS4 instead of my high tier (in 2013) PC.

 

Forza Horizon 4 is amazing and everything I wanted it to be and more.

sank maybe 5 hours into it last night, next thing I know it’s 2am. left this morning for a trip and can’t wait to get back and spend more time driving around Britain.

A couple of thoughts on Shadow of the Colossus Remastered now that I’ve finally had a chance to get through it.

1.) HOLYSHITTHISGAMELOOKSAMAZING!!! And to the people complaining about how the graphical upgrade looks ‘too good’ and takes away the aura of mystery: what the fuck is wrong with you? Playing the game at this level of fidelity completely elevated the experience for me. I truly felt the scope and awe of this magnificent, desolate landscape, and the level of detail on the colossi themselves made me actually appreciate the control scheme for the first time - it felt immersive, not lazily, pretentiously clunky. Slap the film grain filter on it the shit looks like a genuine forgotten relic. I felt like I was finally having the experience Team Ico meant for me to have in the first place.

2.) I have a fan theory about the colossi that this play through has only stregnthend for me: They’re Actually Fucking Assholes.

 

I did not like the camera or the controls of SOTC and got bored after three Collosi.

 

SOTC was and continues to remain one of, if not my favourite, of the PS2 games. The story, the lore, the concept, the combat just drew me right in and left me wanting a hell of a lot more. When the PS4 remake was mentioned I'd hoped they'd included the cut colossus though .

 

I will say it was a gorgeous game

 

I'm thinking about getting a 4K TV. Anyone have one and have a suggestion?
