It's like three times as true with RPGs. Trying to play a 75+ hour JRPG with multiple storylines and weird game mechanics? If I take a break, I probably won't return to it

I’ve played 2, brotherhood, some of revelations, like an hour of 3, syndicate, origins, and like an hour of two of odyssey.

can’t really rank 3 or odyssey as is. I really wanna try black flag

 

Black Flag will likely feel clunky now after Origins/Odyssey, but maaaaan is it fun. The storyline is really fun. The naval battle is fun (for me.)

Odyssey becomes a lot better if you stick with it. Doesn’t mean you should, but it is what it is. Once you get to Athens it’s like Origins basically.

 

I will say i'm glad I picked Kassandra first cause I don't know that i'd wanna play through again for the other side of the story.

 

Taking my time in Sekiro, and farming skill points. Just got to the drunkard. Does that friendly npc nearby respawn? Hope so cuz I didn’t know what he was gonna do I could’ve saved him for later. Didn’t even start the fight. I’m sure he’s gonna take a minute, and I was having a great playsesh. Shall fight him later.

 

Just lost Aeris for the 21st time in my life. Stay grateful fam.

 

I killed everyone there and took 1 hit off of the drukard's kill points before I got the NPC. and yeah dw he respawns as often as you'd like.

 

There is no other side, all that changes is the name, voice and character model. The protagonist always has the same backstory.

Can anyone give me some pointers regarding the prosthetics skill tree in Sekiro? What is dope?

 

I would do whatever it takes to get to the final prosthetic skill, which lets you apply the prosthetic effect to your sword. Flame vent / Fire sword causes pretty much any enemy Burning, which will stun them. Makes the game a lot easier.

I'm on the final boss, I have one other optional boss who I'm pretty sure is unbeatable. Fairly certain I missed/messed up a lot of the sidequests, and honestly the game is still so hard that I don't know if I'll really want to rush right into NG+ to see what I missed

I'm barely to the big ass snake on Sekiro. This is....not historically accurate.

 

The Division 2 has been really great with a consistent group

 

Apparently it's possible to miss three prayer beads in Sekiro if you advance too far, and no way to get them even when you go into NG+...and I'm mad about it.

 

How I feel defeating the samurai on the horse on my second try.
