I reinstalled Sekiro and I am kinda having a good time now.

 

Finally sat down and put some time into Sekiro. Didn't have much luck last weekend with it, but doing OK today. Just before Lady Butterfly right now.

 

Watch out with saying DMC around here

But yea I fucking love DMC5 so hope you have as much fun with it as I did

I just beat the 4th mini boss in Sekiro. Haven’t faced an actual boss yet but the game opened up in a big way for me.

I’m so glad I stuck with it.

Decided to give AC: Odyssey a try since if I can’t do an assassin’s creed game, there’s no way I will be able to do any of the suggestions.

By far the best AC I have played since Ezio’s trilogy. I liked Black flag a lot, but at times it felt like a different game, but Odyssey feels like an AC game through and through. Really taking me back to the first time I booted up the original game. Love the combat system, the world itself, only thing I can say against it right now is that the dialogue shots have had some issues, but that might just be due to my basic Xbox One. From what I saw/played of Origins, it did not feel like an assassin’s creed game to me personally. This game is a breath of fresh air for me

 

Get Dead cells next

 

Yeah once I run through this I’m gonna trade it and snag MGS5, Dying Light, Dead Souls 3, and I guess Dead Cells as well haha

my Xbox live gold got suspended a few days ago and I’m bitter having to wait for a sale on Xbox live.

It’s really expired but they consider it suspended through their system which is weird.

 

It’s not really crazy but this newfound love for GTA role play is wild.

I watched a streamer who was averaging like 200 views now start to pull 3k viewers and get to hang out with all the big streamers.

 

AC Odyssey is great. A shame some people will see the AC label on it and not even give it a try.

 

Which tbh is dumb anyway because like AC is a great series despite lesser titles

 

It's weird to me that you like Odyssey, but don't like Origins. They're incredibly similar

 

Bbbbut Ubisoft rushes out the games because this huge company only has one team for making games

 

I tried so hard to get into that game specifically because it was nu AC (I and @skurt both adored origins) and I couldn’t do it.

 

I love when I'm up early af and this thread is poppin with the folks across the pond except it's about like the gaming industry and idk about that

 

Maybe we just love AC because Ubisoft represents the old world lmao

 

Origins felt way more like an AC game to some than odyssey. I quit odyssey a few hours in because I didn’t vibe with it at all. I’ll probably try again soon

 

Think Odyssey might be my fave. Top 3 is definitely Origins, Odyssey and Syndicate

well since I'm having a "my opinions keep shifting" kind of week, I'll definitely give Odyssey another go then.

that said I'm really really really enjoying Sekiro again, just beat the first proper boss.
