So I opened PAX EAST today and was able to get in OCULUS before stupid line lengths occurred.... that Dance Saber VR game is legit. So fun. Played a ton of indie games and almost all of Nintendo’s new stuff today too. Excited to try more throughout the next two days at the event. Definitely got me into gaming again as it’s been about 6 years since I played anything outside of Roller Coaster Tycoon.

 

What Nintendo stuff!? We need titles man!

 

Can’t get past the shinobi Hunter in Sekiro, and it’s driving me crazy. I swear every video I watch they do the counter move so much easier than I. Also it seems he does way more other bs on my game....

 

The more time I spend in Sekiro’s world, and the better at the game I’m getting, the more I’m really loving it. Going to be a contender for GOTY easily, even coming out this early in the year.

It really becomes such a different combat style than any soulsborne. One minute I’m stealthing, then countering, and at times it REALLLY pays to go agro to break posture.

 

i need to unlearn all the combat from Bloodborne im getting smoked so easily.

 

I got stuck on a certain guy at the top of Ashina Castle and haven't been able to play for a few days.

 

So the dragon rot stuff you have grown used to? That's the biggest thing holding me back

 

I feel like I've got real life dragon rot after last night

Yeah I mean honestly it’s whatever. I’m just kind of curing it after major boss fights and then going back to talk to every NPC and if I miss a quest I miss a quest. Trying not to get hung up on that.

Honestly only ever played Sonic on SEGA. Never owned it. My console timeline was Nintendo, Super Nintendo, N64, PS1, PS2, PS3, and now PS4 Pro.

 

Sega genesis was my first console and I only had the Power Rangers game and the Lion King game which was stupid hard.

 

I only had the revelation a few years ago that the genesis and mega drive are the same console lol

 

Used to play gunstar heroes and mutant league football and mutant league hockey on the genesis all the time. Wasn’t mutant league football supposed to come out in some collection for the switch?

 

Just finished Sekiro. Very very very good game.

Might not revisit it for a little bit though.
