My Final Fantasy hot take is that 5 is one of my least favorites because I prefer the games without the job system to the games with it.

 

My FF hot take is that the current iteration of 14 is a top 3 best MMO of all time and I'd still play it if I wanted to do nothing but play a game

 

My FF hot take is that Sabin would fuck up any other playable character in the FF series, even Auron.

 

My FF hot take is I never understood why FF has always been so much more popular than DQ in the West, or why it was the only popular JRPG series in the west for so many years

 

I’ve never played a FF game

 

If we are talking simple boring battle systems (which I have no problem with) DQ is king of that.

 

Yeah I don't necessarily have a problem with it but I think a better battle system (or even just harder battles) can make it more fun

 

I tried Bloodborne out after playing through Celeste and it felt kind of clunky to me unfortunately. I’ll give it another shot in a month or two though, Celeste’s movement was just so smooth that going to Bloodborne was a little jarring.

Dying Light sounds cool, I will see if GameStop has it! I think I looked at Deus Ex: MD, is that the newest one available? Where the augmented humans are being persecuted? I will also look for HR at GameStop!

FF has always looked boring as shit to me

 

I forgot how much fun Dying LIght was. I had a blast with that game.

 

The hottest FF take would be FFXI is the best but I'm guessing that take doesn't exist

Game really was a blast. I remember one time running from one of those sprinting zombies and hiding in a shack with the flashlight off. When I turned the flashlight on there was a legless zombie right in front of me.

I may have pissed myself that day.

 

FF3 is so damn difficult. I’ve never finished it.

 

I've barely played any FF game and never touched that one

 

Yeah like the remake? So hard and not that fun

 

I have a friend who may say XI is his fav. Not sure though
