the bird people in Sekiro are miserable

 

I beat a few mini-bosses in Sekiro tonight, upgraded my health and posture for the first time, and upgraded my gourd again. I feel like I’ve marginally improved since I first started playing.

 

How much farther do I have in God of War?

Got back to the top of the mountain after healing Atreus and telling him he's a god, now back in Helheim after fighting Baldur and Atreus becoming a little asshole

 

Lady Butterfly keeps killing me on her second phase even though I can get through her first without getting hit. It's annoying.

Also the guy on the horse is a right ****.

I thought they weren't going to do E3 this year?

 

Sounds like a quarter of the game left. Maybe a little more. Have you gone back home at all?

 

They aren't, but it doesn't mean this one SOP stream was supposed to replace it. E3 takes place in June and it's only March right now. People on Twitter were complaining saying "I can't believe they aren't going to E3 and this is all we get! Where's TLOU2 damnit?!" and stuff like that and I'm just like "chill, they have so much time left in the year."

 

They said at the end of the stream that there's more to come this year, did people somehow miss that? I like this format better honestly.

 

Gamers are so entitled they don't care. If they didn't get a Sly Cooper 5 reveal or a remake of Silent Hill 2 or the exact date of Death Stranding then they go nuts and say the company is ignoring their fans.

I like this format too. I think this stream had a lot of meh stuff, but I think it was just to test the waters.

 

I have personally never enjoyed E3. Give me 15 minute presentations a few times a year over 2 hours of waffling at E3 any day.

 

I mean it's fine to have something short to watch that isn't end-all but it's just that absolutely nothing looked like something I'd enjoy so yeah it's a bit disappointing hahaha

I don't think that's unreasonable, I don't think Sony is on the brink of destruction over it and I'll still watch the next

Mario Party is brilliant in that it's so handicapped that I shouldn't be as competitive over it and I STILL RAGE

Wild that anyone would say people are "entitled" for thinking/expressing that the Sony presentation was bad. It was bad. Just because they never advertised it was going to be earth-shakingly huge doesn't mean people like having their time wasted. And that's all it was, a waste of time. Also just a horrible first impression for Sony's version of these things. So it's fair for anyone to say so.

This whole mentality of "if you don't like [X gaming-related thing], you're entitled" that's cropped up over the last few years is such a farce.

 

watching what is essentially a very long commercial is basically a waste of time by definition though lol

 

Like I like watching Directs too but still what are we even talking about right now lol
