Haha. From what I remember I enjoyed that game, but have few memories of it. I think I wanted it to be more like Jet Force Gemini and it didn't come close to touching that magical game.

  8. I've been slowly working my way through Horizon: Zero Dawn and I think this game is so good but I've never really found the perfect time to play it. Came out right at the same time as Zelda last year, which was the superior vast open world game, and now I'm kind of hesitant to run through it with Red Dead coming so soon. I feel like it's constantly playing second fiddle to something else for me.

I know how you feel. I disagree about BOTW, but I shelved Horizon and then played God Of War and finally had time to go back to Horizon and it just didn't stack up to what I just played.

These past two years have been stacked with great games there honestly hasn't been a good time to give all of them a fair shot.

I’ve been avoiding all footage and stuff, I know almost nothing about the game and trying to keep it that way. I normally have a hard time doing this but I just trust rockstar so completely!

I had a revelation while playing Forza Horizon 4 today. Had some Bach on the radio, was driving my classic MG and came across a view on a hill that was so gorgeous (had Scottish mountains, lush green fields blowing in the wind, trees) I just sat there looking at it with the music playing. FH4 might well be one of the most brilliant looking games ever.

I want to play Graveyard Keeper so bad but I’m like 99% sure a Switch version is being worked on somewhere

This is one of the many reasons I don't like Kotaku that much. Some of their writers just have genuinely awful opinions.

(This was a response to someone complaining the writer was being hypocritical about complaining about the new AC game not being like 3 or Unity even though they panned those games)

Her comment is the most liked thing on the article and I'm just here wondering if anyone actually read what she said.

I mean, comparing one writer's opinion to another's is silly. That being said, video game criticism, like most criticism, is in a dreadful state.

An subjective opinion regarding a fundamentally subject like this can't really be wrong (with certain exceptions in the video game field, like comparing actually broken games to working ones, I think). The problem starts when that opinion is being presented as fact by the opinion holder. Though many writers lack the context and talent to form an opinion that is actually interesting.
