The idea is you’re supposed to have unlocked the majority of the abilities by the time you do SOS. But yeah there should be a code to unlock it if nothing else

 

But giving players the choice from the start doesn't interfere with this. It just gives the players who want more of a challenge the chance to have that option available.

 

DmC has always been a challenging series. This is nothing new.

I literally play all my games on normal or easy, mostly easy, because I don’t like feeling like I’m bad even if I am bad. So I play on easy and act like I’m on hard and just owning

Oh yeah I understand why you’d want to buy a digital game without entering payment information and so on, but to do that you can just buy point cards (or whatever they’re called) too. That’s what I think most people do, which is maybe why they disctoninued these.
