oh god I'm so used to it being part of the main game now I totally forgot about Dark Souls 1, Artorias of the Abyss

  2. The Last Of Us: Left Behind as well. I feel like that’s an essential part of the experience

  4. Here's some Bioshock hot takes for you
    Bioshock: Infinte > Bioshock 2
but Minerva's Den > Buried at Sea

    btw
Tiny Tina DLC > every other DLC ever

Hmm... So far I've found Bioware/Bethesda/Rocksteady DLC to be pretty unmemorable in general, but I have yet to play FO4, ME3, and DA:I

Really hyped for Blood and Wine, though. I miss that world.

  5. Saints Row IV is essentially SR: The Third DLC released as a full game.

Tiny Tina is essentially a full game released as DLC.

or the cream of the crop, Train Simulator

And that one is with a majority of the pieces at 30%-50% off

  8. Are microtransactions ruining the industry? I don't think we've discussed this before.

Wasn't the Battlefront II something like that

To be fair Train Simulator has been like this for awhile, and is mostly just them building on previous versions since like 2010 I think? Something like that.

Dead or Alive is the big standout one

how about that 27000 dollar DLC-Pack for Star Citizen? :chin:

Being that I love Battlefront II, bought the game for $9 and have every single character now with almost every outfit, I have no idea exactly how micro-transactions were applied to game originally?

The only people I had to work a little bit to unlock were Obi, Dooku, and Anakin after their releases which didn't take much at all. I see no offers for payment on things except for trooper skins which are the least-important thing to me. The story mode has 2 parts to it, and online game play is a lot of fun. Honestly might be one of the best Star Wars games ever at this point.

How many hours total did you put into BOTW?

Sorry didn't see this, Issac obviously but I also have nearly 70+ hours into Dead Cells, I did think the game had much depth but once you go into the harder modes of Dead Cells you get a totally different experience and way to play the game, also it's very rewarding to progress in that game. There's also a bunch of older ones like Enter The Gungeon, Risk of Rain (Theres a second one of those coming soon that is full 3d and co-op, looks outstanding) Rogue Legacy, Neurovoider and i'm sure i'm forgetting others. I spent about 5 years away from gaming if not more so it's very easy for me to be into stuff that I have missed.

I loved Risk of Rain and Rogue Legacy, beating those was very satisfying. I haven't touched DC because it looks way too intimidating. I've actually never even heard of Neurovoider.

With DC I thought I was in over my head but putting in some time to it has been so rewarding. Nearly beating it on hard mode makes me feel super skilled and it's a feeling I want more. I would suggest getting it, it's so so fun.

I have only played about an hour and a half I think. I got it day one, but the voice pack wasn't released yet and I had to listen to the terrible dub so I waited until the next day. I enjoyed what I played of it. I need to go back.

only like 10 levels into BaBa Is You but already feeling reasonably confident that BaBa is GOTY. Just everything I love in a puzzle game. Every level I've beaten so far has left a huge smile on my face once I figure it out and I keep going back to try new zany solutions.

Ending my gaming hiatus tomorrow (haven't played anything this year except Smash and a bit of Apex because other stuff has been going on). Think I'm gonna start with God of War

It was a mess. It was an aggressive loot box system, but with more than just cosmetics. Like you say, they changed all that. It's pretty awesome now.
