FPSs just get boring very quickly. Like yay let's shoot some people. Two hours later, yay I'm doing the same thing but there's more people yay. Thrilling.

 

don't be this reductive, man. a good FPS keeps you on your toes with ever increasing mechanics and enemies that you need to use these mechanics on to defeat them while traversing increasingly wild environments.

Even if you don't like the other Wolfenstein games, you should try Wolfenstein 2 because you get to KICK HITLER

Man, I never thought about it like that. I hate repetition. I'm glad I only play turn based RPGs, racing games, MMOs, sports games, and Tetris. I'd hate to be stuck in a gameplay loop.

I'm playing Wolfenstein on Switch. It's story-driven, nervous as shit, etc. It never gets boring. The Bioshock and Dishonored series are worth checking out as well. Some multiplayer FPSs are insanely fun and not that repetitive if their level design is top quality (Battlefield 3 comes to mind)...

I don't know, I've never felt "in a loop" while playing FPSs.
