Yup I have both DS games and don't think I finished either. Played ALBW twice

I thought those DS Zelda games were really well executed. It worked.

 

I think they worked at the time, but now they feel really dated. Went back to ST a year or two ago and wasn't feeling it

Never finished phantom hourglass. Never started spirit tracks or link between worlds. Need to do that ASAP

Forza horizon 4 is fucking amazing graphically and in general I already have 8 hours into it I couldn’t put it down I had to turn my laptop off and force my self to go to sleep

 

That's pretty much what I meant. Like trying to do Skyward Sword with the motion controls. Ughhh

dammit haha. a friend just gave me both of them and I've never played either of them so I was stoked to finally do so. But if they're both super stylus-heavy then I think I'll pass.

 

Probably will buy Life Is Strange 2 tonight. Is there any idea on when they release the rest of the seasons? Or how long in between each season?

 

You legitimately use the stylus to move in Spirit Tracks, that game is gimmicks GALORE. Having to blow in the fucking mic too.

 

Ultimate edition came out last night at 11. Regular edition comes out Tuesday the 2nd and it’s also coming to Xbox game pass

 

Taking into account that all of them were products of their time, I think the DS Zelda games are significantly better Zelda games than Skyward Sword. Skyward Sword was pretty, the setting was cool etc. but that game had bad pacing, “mission design” and so on. In my opinion that is. I’d much rather play new, button-confrols versions of those than Skyward Sword.

 

Skyward Sword was ace. Way, way better than the DS games imo.

 

I was not a fan of SS, mostly because of the controls, but somewhat because it just seemed really inconsistent and all over the place in comparison to things like Twilight Princess and such

 

I didn't feel inconsistency at all. I actually thought it was more consistent than Twilight Princess but I enjoyed the motion controls and didn't really enjoy the wolf gameplay.

 

I didn't like the motion controls, but Skyward Sword had my favorite boss in any Zelda game ever.

 

Never finished Skyward Sword, I hated the motion controls a lot.
