The lack of RPG elements is what’s actually drawing me to it, as well as the stealth! I pretty much tried to play Bloodborne as a horror game.

 

Every game is made better by being a RPG, just ask Assassin's Creed

 

I genuinely think they needn’t have bothered calling the latest one Assassin’s Creed, it looked that different in terms of gameplay.

 

The stealth is optional. Also your finishers are supposedly so loud that you can only kill like one guy before you’re fully fighting.

 

Nah, it still has similar elements. People moaned for years that they released too many games that were similar. Then they actually changed the gameplay and people still moaned.

I think with younger gamers there’s a FOMO aspect. Like, this game is shit, but all my friends have it...can’t be the only one without the new COD!

 

Yeah but like literally every COD is at least decent. Like you know what you’re getting.

 

I mean I don’t know if I agree with IW but as a whole the core experience is always typical COD yeah. COD2 will forever be my favourite, but I’m definitely enjoying MWR again.

Can someone explain what the eff is going on with the potential remaster of that? First I heard it was going to be single player only, then that it didn’t exist, then that it was multiplayer only as a result of the airport level, then that it was all speculation and it’s still not officially confirmed?

 

The foreigner aspect was in regards to a professional wrestler who uses it for pain management. "Fancy a quick joint" isn't really valid when it comes to people who use it for very specific reasons, and it's stigma like this that continues to cause marijuana to be viewed shitty ways like that.

And then right back to the developer, they're literally shelving a game because of an addiction due to how they deal with any sort of drug. It's fucked up and there's no defense of that to me. Someone's life is basically trashed because they used a drug. He'll be blacklisted because of this more than likely, which is insanely shitty.

You weren't being mature, saying something like "jesus christ it was over with" and telling someone to not rehash an argument out and to not put their input into something they didn't get a chance to because they weren't on at the time is extremely shitty.

There's a clear difference in having a difference of opinion and playing devil's advocate. One is productive and can cause great conversations, the other helps absolutely nothing.

I'm done with this conversation, it's clear you don't view it this way and it's not worth the time anymore to continue discussing it with you.

 

I finished Dragon Age Inquisition the other night. It was good. I felt burnt out towards the end with how repetitive the side stuff got so I just pushed through to finish the main story but overall I enjoyed it.

 

Incredible. Had you actually said in the first place it was for medicinal purposes you could’ve saved this entire argument. And I agree wholeheartedly about the dev situation. That’s fucking awful. As I have continually stated: I never made any reference to that situation in my replies whatsoever.

Urgh. Guess I gotta *gets out wallet* hahaha. Seriously though, they need to release it as a stand-alone. If it’s a bonus included with a special edition at a discount, great. It makes sense. But don’t make that the only place to get it. Suppose it would mean that more folk would flock solely to MW2 then though.

Still reeling that the MW DLC was more expensive than it was at launch haha. I guess if I looked into inflation costs it might make a tad more sense, but it’s daft nonetheless.

 

I mean it will be available stand alone eventually, but I guess they don't want to cannibalize COD sales to a 6 year old remaster.

 

Very true, though even releasing it alongside the new game seems a bit counterintuitive with that in mind. Why not just hold fire until the MW4 player base begins to die down and then release MW2 to keep momentum? Dividing the player base from day one ain’t it.

 

I guess that's why it probably won't have multiplayer is my guess.

also I'm hyped as fuck for MW4. A bunch of guys from Respawn went back and a lot of hires from Naughty Dog.
