No, it doesn't. It's like a Marvel end credits scene. It's extra flavor. I liked knowing which direction it's going to take next. I am totally more intrigued now knowing Thor is the next big bad and their house is destroyed because I enjoy speculating what kind of relationships and repercussions are going to come from Atreus' and Kratos' actions. The game did a good job of keeping me guessing which places I was going to explore and what villains I would see. I like having a taste of that going forward. It's also a good image to play against how the game started which was somber and quiet and the ending was a direct opposite because of Kratos' natural reactions to the world around him.

I understand it may not be for everyone, but I think it did a good job of making it feel like the creators have a set vision and know where they are heading and getting me to stay excited for the next installment.

 

One of my favourite games of last year (Spider-Man narrowly missed the top spot). You're on a roll with these games lately!

 

for the last 11 or so years I pretty much only played world of Warcraft and only played other games here and there without any regularity, well I cancelled my subscription back in October and since red dead 2 I’ve just been playing game after game, mostly to stop myself from resubbing to wow because it’s always tempting but I’d rather play all these dope single player games on my ps4 instead. it’s like I’ve been freed and finally understand the real joys of video gaming beyond the mmo grind lol

 

but the actual ending established so much intrigue of what’s to come as it is with an in-game set piece. i don’t think the Thor teaser did anything that the Loki reveal didn’t already for those that don’t mind a little subtlety and not having plot hooks spelled out for them

Did you manage to finish Inquisition? I meant to catch up with you on that since I re-downloaded it myself! I've been played Anthem and the landscape and closing of the seals reminds me of the Rifts in DA:I.

 

I finished inquisition about a month ago exactly, it was such an incredible rpg experience, I love games where the main character is a blank slate that you build from the ground up, and the fact it was fully voice acted (unlike how you don’t say a word in Skyrim) just added so much depth to the experience. one of the more immersive games I’ve played recently. I’m actually really excited to start a second playthrough with a new class and party set up and different story decisions and romances, but i have all these other games to play lol. I actually think I’m gonna buy the DLC bundle today and go through those, I’ve heard the last one is essential story wise

 

You'll really make me want to give DA:I another go but idk when I'd get the time lol

 

I also feel like I should bite the bullet on origins before doing inquisition again. Does anyone know if the PC version has built in gamepad support? I’d imagine it does but mass effect 2 doesn’t so idk

 

i should really jump back in and platinum GoW, i’ve got maybe an hour of combat and two hours of collectibles until i’m there

 

I’m addicted to this fucking game, I didn’t even go back to bed after taking my girlfriend to work at 5 am just so I could play, I went to bed at like 1 lol

 

It was a great jump from Dragon Age 2, I still enjoyed that game but Origins was fucking amazing and this was a pretty good set up for the series. The DLC is pretty good, too but I feel like it should have been part of the main game. Excited for DA4

 

I was close to Platinuming GoW but that last damn Valkyrie

 

that’s the only thing i’ve got left other than a little Niflheim grinding. so fucking frustrating.

There isn't anything inherently wrong with them, some people are just sick of them. It was done well in this case.

 

Lmfao I was looking for the mouse for my girlfriends computer and accidentally stumbled upon my extremely dusty 2DS. I own but never touched Pokémon moon so...
