That fucking sucks, I can't believe it

 

I'm in love with DQXI

 

got to the high peak castle in dead cells last night and then died on a stupid spinning ball I didn’t see that then ping ponged me into a corner and I got destroyed.

first time I made it that far, thank you legendary impaler! I’m so hooked.

 

Telltale news is really shocking and sad, hope all of those people are able to land on their feet.

in tangentially-related gaming news, I'm going to be getting a desktop PC after having nothing but a Macbook Pro for the last six years, so that's exciting.

 

I've made it to the Clock Tower a couple times, I assume I'm not very far in?

Honestly it always sounds like a majority of these game companies are mismanaged. Whenever there’s a layoff or a lawsuit it reveals how penny-pinching/stressful it seems to be working for a game developer. It bums me out as a VG fan. I wish the industry had more safety nets I guess.

 

I loved the first Batman telltale game. Still need to eventually pick up the second one.

 

There is a push for more unionization!

 

Clock Tower is just before the second boss. There are only three bosses in a run.

I'm more about the individuals losing their jobs than never getting another game from TellTale. The Wolf Among Us, TWD S1, and Batman S1 were great games they put out. I don't think I ever paid full price for a game of theirs though. They were either always extremely discounted or a PS Plus free game.

 

Mismanagement is definitely a big problem in a lot of those larger indie developers. They make a lot of baffling business decisions.

 

I wish I knew enough about computers to have actually bought one that can play Skyrim: Special Edition. I think all my specs are acceptable besides my integrated graphics? The game won’t even load, just a grey screen and then crashes.

don't really have anything yet that I've been dying to pick up, just looking forward to being able to play things at high settings and stream without lag. I've been streaming a lot of WoW recently and I have to play on low settings and still only get 30-40 fps. just streamed some today and was playing on high at 100 fps, so that's really nice haha.

I'm by no means an expert but I think the fact that you don't have a dedicated graphics card is a big problem, I think a lot of games demand one outright

 

i’ve been playing Eternal for about three months, and i hit Master Rank in ladder this morning (equivalent to Legend in Hearthstone). i did it with a budget, super fun aggro deck and along the way got enough gold to buy the new expansion without dropping a penny. i adore this game.

 

Excited to play this again.

I wish she was just called Rin and they never even alluded to the fact she's called Qatherine because that name is stupid. They should have just allowed players to piece two and two together on their own "oh Rin is short for Catherine" etc.

Otherwise, I'm super stoked to play it. One of their best games.
