Watched some gameplay and it looked kinda sluggish. And I prefer the monsters and weapons and setting of BB. I’m gonna platinum BB and do the dlc trophies in the wait for TLOU2 lol

I mean it's slower than BB but if you want a game like BB it's the best you're going to get lol. Trust me I've played all the FS games and all the clones.

Limiting to games that will be released within a year, I'm currently excited about Cyberpunk 2077 and The Falconeer. There's some other games I'm cautious about but interested in like Halo Infinite, Ghost of Tsushima, and Microsoft Flight Simulator.

As for what I'm playing right now, I recently finished up a playthrough of Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords. I'm currently playing Elite: Dangerous, but that's probably gonna be true two years from now as well. That's not really a game you beat. Lol.

And as for consoles, I'll be getting both probably. But I'm less excited about the PS5.

 

Would that not be because an American is trying to buy from an Asian site?

I feel like I’m the only person in existence who genuinely feels nothing for Cyberpunk. Like total indifference. Surprised to see Ghosts! Innnnnteresting. I want it but fear it’ll be very similar to AC. Thank you for this insight.

 

It doesn’t matter to me what price the PS5 is at launch because I’m not buying it until it’s $400

 

I can certainly my afford a 699 dollar console but a mass market price that is not.

 

Wouldn't be surprised if Sony leaked $700 to try tricking Microsoft into launching the Series X console at $600 so they can pull a fast one and launch the PS5 at $500. We got some mind games going on.

 

This is basically where I'm at with it. For the amount of use I know the thing is going to get over the next 6 years or so, would I personally pay that much for it? Yeah probably. Will the parents buying their kids it for Christmas? Probably not.

 

Certainly just a placeholder price. That retailer wants to get those preorders in, and certainly wants to price it higher so they don’t put up w price that’s lower than the actual price. They can easily adjust that number down to MSRP, but imagine the backlash if they put it up for $399 and were like “Dear Customer, the price on your preordered console has gone up by 199.”
