but also everybody loves white media so we will never get poc superheroes and also my favorite gay superhero boyfriends

Raimi’s Spider-Man’s were the only superhero movies I’ve liked

still haven’t seen Spiderverse bc it’s a cartoon tho I hear it’s great

but it was Ultimate Peter Parker that died and also there is an Ultimate multiverse and then shit happened so now Mile’s in earth 616 or whatever number the main comic is or something

and then peter was doc ock for a while but he’s not anymore

My case is mostly the old generation of superheroes is boring for me and I prefer the spotlight be on the next generation because they are way more inclusive besides forcing inclusiveness into the characters through subtle hints.

 

I once described the Avengers as a bunch of cishet white guys throwing their testosterone and cheesy one liners at each other. You can imagine how mad white boys got lol.

 

the only comic book I’ve read was the miles morales stuff. spiderman was really the only superhero I cared for.

 

If I were to ever suggest superheroes to check out right now I’d be: Miles Morales(Spider-Man) of course, Kamala Khan(Ms Marvel), Riri Williams(Ironheart) and the collective they are apart of called The Champions.

the main writers for the three are all currently people of color and it rules so much.
