i bought it some days ago and was planning to do the same. I bought too many games this 2 week period (Correction: I'm still buying).

Also GameXplain's TLOU2 review got me. I enjoyed the first one enough. The bit about not glorifying violence is right up my alley. That was one of the themes in the original that I really appreciated, so I'm glad they put even more focus on that.

 

Everyone losing their minds over Cipher in the mad max thread a few weeks back was gold.

 

I'll need to check that out for a laugh later

Also - if that Star Wars: Squadrons game is a new game in the vein of Rogue Squadron, I'm going to go buck wild.

(And re: TLOU II talk, the first was a game I respected, but didn't really love. And that's OK. Not everyone is gonna love the same stuff the same way. I respect how it pushed "gaming-as-a-narrative-form" forward, but the game itself didn't light up my personal joy receptors.)
