They were making the first game from the ground up. That means the map, the mechanics, the story, etc. Its not like a studio that makes multiple separate games at the same time and release them years apart. I’m assuming Miles game will be based off what was built during production of the first game. I don’t see how they could possibly make them simultaneously.

 

If it was on PS4 I’d agree, but you would think it would take more time for a next gen title.

It’s not like I’m bashing the game. It’s one of the few titles I’m looking forward to from the event today. I’m just saying don’t get your hopes too high just yet on how big the game will be until Insomniac says it’s a full-fledged sequel.

 

Makes sense! Sounds great, Lost Legacy was maybe the best Uncharted game (and 4 was damn great!) so this is pretty cool. A more focused and even more polished mid-size/ranged game is always nice.

That’s what I’d be putting money on as well.

 

The game definitely had that atmospheric first person action game vibe a la BioShock, but with a strong SMT/Persona-ish world with it taking place in modern Tokyo with all sorts of apocalyptic stuff and a free mix of religious mythology. Very exciting.

For those wondering Jason Schreier confirmed Miles Morales is more like Uncharted: Lost Legacy. Which takes nothing away from the game at all. It’s still going to be amazing. A nice mid-range game.

 

Apparently Ghostwire: Tokyo is a timed console exclusive for PS5

 

And Deathloop too.

 

I think Godfall might be as well? The article about it on the PlayStation Blog says it will make “its console debut, and launch on PC, this holiday”.

 

The PS5 reminds me of this Kia Soul I was just behind
